Bulbophyllum lepidum (Blume) J.J.Sm. - previously Cyropetalum picturatum
Description: Found in semi-deciduous and evergreen forests on mossy rocks and tree bases at elevations of 300 to 1100 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a woody rhizome, this species is a beautiful and charming miniature with the flowers that seem suspended in space. Easy to to flower, the flowers are born at the height of inflorescences that reach lengths of up to about 20 cm, and form of the fans with 6-10 flowers.
