Eulophia andamanensis Rchb.f.
Description: A medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial in grass or wastelands found in the Andaman Islands, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Sumatra and Malaysia, at elevations around 700 meters as a medium sized, grass-like, acute, keeled leaves, flowered racemose inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts carrying long-lasting flowers occuring in the spring and fall with leafless pseudobulbs. The name E andamanensis most likely is the correct name for this species as it takes precedence being described 24 years prior.
