ដើមថ្នាំងៗ ស្រដៀងដើមអំពៅប្រវែង ៣ម និងមានស្លឹក ច្រើនរឹងៗប្រវែង៧៥ស.ម។ កញ្ចុំផ្កាប្រហែល២ម និងផ្កា ធំៗមានរូបរាងដូចស្បែកខ្លា ប្រើពេលយូរណាស់ទើប ចេញផ្កាម្តងហើយផ្កាច្រើន ៨០−១០០ស.ម ផ្កាប្រវែង ៥ស.ម ប្រើច្រើនឆ្នាំទើបចេញផ្កាម្តង។

The (<3m!) stems of tiger orchids are similar to sugar canes, with many ridges. stems bearing many leaves <75 cm long. Inflorescence > 2 m with 80 to 100 flowers per stalk; flowers >5 cm - blooms after many years.
