Papilionanthe pedunculata (Kerr) Garay 1974

Description:  Found in Cambodia and Vietnam at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters as a large to giant sized, warm growing terete stemed and leafed, warm growing epiphyte with an elongate to 20" [50 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence occuring in the spring and summer. This species when not in flower is indistinguishable from P. teres, but in flower it is obviously a different orchid.
