TEN REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BUY/COLLECT WILD ORCHIDS:

• It is illegal
• By doing so, you contribute to deplete and destroy the environment
• Wild orchids often die after being taken out of their natural habitat
• They are hard to keep healthy
• Some orchids never bloom after being taken out of their habitat.
• They often come with forest germs and bacteria that can infest your other plants
• The flowers are hard to come by
• The flowers are most often small
• The flowers do not long (sometimes only 1 day)
• Wild orchids can develop pungent smells
