Sympodial, Epiphyte, Lithophyte
In areas with high rainfall, clump forming on tree-forks or on ferns, high in trees, as lithophyte on cliffs. 1100-1800 m ✾ January-May Large Orchid up to 30 cm tall, leaves 5 x 25 cm; flowers 7-13 cm. ❉ Offensive: the ‘odore spermatico-urinoso’ of Delpino. |
